The head  represents the greatest spiritually part for Thai people and there are some taboos. Never put  your hand on the head of a Thai, not more than you will not cherish the hair of a child. If that arrives to you, present your excuses immediately, with the risk to pass for coarse person.  Conversely  the feet represents the lowest spiritually part of the body. Never  point them towards something or somebody. Do not pose them on a chair or a table when you sat.

Never touch someone  with your feet.
Do not sit on a pillow reserved for sleeping.

Never span somebody, even in a very crammed coach of third class, where the passengers sat or lengthened on the floor.

Try to circumvent them, or ask that they move.
To greet somebody, join your  hands like a gesture of prayer (Waï). If someone greats you , you must great back, except if it is a child.

There are buses starting from Hua Hin to Bangkok every hour in the morning starting from 3 am , and the afternoon every  ½ hours. An approximately 3 hours trip.
